The fact is, her husband committed a pretty raunchy act with a cigar on Ms Lewinsky, a 21 year old charge, interning at the White House for some life experience. I doubt either her father or Mrs. Clinton were expecting the most powerful man in the world to take advantage of her in quite that way.
That Mrs. Clinton has the audacity to remain in the public eye after that says something about her.

Hillary has undoubtedly known, or at least suspected her husband of infidelity for at least a few years before he got elected to the Office of the Presidency, there were quite a few reports of other women while he was Governor of Arkansas. Paula Jones, being the most lively case. She knew divorcing him would be political suicide.
