Patrick Henry Hughes - Inspirational Story

Uploaded by: kpmac1
Video Description:
Patrick Hughes is a young man at Univ. of Louisville who was born blind and crippled and yet now plays the piano beautifully as well as "marches" in the Louisville marching band. This was a piece done during ESPN College Gameday on 12/2/2006.
Note: I am not affiliated with the Hughes family. Just someone who finds their story wonderful.

Aaaa - ok. I have to believe in him first! I'll try next time.
You say: "How can one not believe in GOD". This is like saying that "there must be something wrong with who dont believe in fairytales and bullshit!"
Patrick Henry must have worked hard for his success, absolutely nothing to do with a god.

God gave him the Gift of life and musical talent. So God did help out. You need to try and be more positive and supportive of other people. Who cares what someone thinks about God, focus on your own beliefs... I just think that you should be more positive along with all the other negative people around... it is a nice thing to do.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments and support. Please read my blog at patrickhenryhughes(dot)com about UL Athletic Administrators efforts to exclude me from participation and their threats to ban my dad and I from Athletic events. Write the University about Athletics attack on higher education. If we don't make a stand here, it will happen everywhere. God bless.
What a great story ... ( 6 hours ago by GYSTCONSULTING)
What a great story - a remarkable attitude.
It reminds me of a quote.
"Everything can be taken from a man but ...the last of the human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."
Viktor Frankl (from "Man's serch for meaning").
As a psychologist, over the years I have seen evidence of the immense power for change in Frankl's wonderful truism.
