The point is, we have morals and ethics, and it goes against both of those to impose your will / desires {ie: cast spells} ON a particular person.
Magic is all about movement of energy, and has its roots in quantum physics. Using magic to unduly influence someone will only bring you trouble.
For example, if you cast a spell to make someone fall in love with you, what if you then don't like them? You have bound them to you, and they won't go away!
