"They have to go through so much just to get permission to be themselves?" You DO realize how rediculous that sounds, right? Transsexuals get sex changes BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIKE WHO THEY ARE, BEING YOURSELF IS ABOUT ACCEPTING THAT YOU ARE THE WAY YOU AND NOT BITCHING ABOUT IT. You don't necessarily have to LIKE it, but being yourself takes more guts and glory than doing something as pointless as a sex change, or anything else that changes the original "you."

Actually that's an idea from a lot of different trans literature. You should probably educate yourself before you attempt to debate about it. Transgenders' minds don't match their bodies - they are born with the mind of a man and the body of a woman, or vice versa. Oh, and while we're having a lesson here, you should also look up the word "ridiculous" and learn how to spell it before you criticize someone for embodying that trait.

So you're saying that people should never try to change themselves? A person who's normally shy and wants to be more outgoing shouldn't try to change? A person who angers easily shouldn't attempt to make themselves calmer? A blonde that wants to be brunette shouldn't dye his/her hair simply because they weren't born that way? People go through changes all the time. That's one way we learn about ourselves and find out who we are on the inside and out. To say that's stupid is stupid itself.

No, a person that's shy and wants to be more outgoing (I'm one of these people) should just accept them for who they are. I'm much more outgoing online because there's a screen seperating me and the person I'm talking to - I'm terrible in social situations and I hate to be the center of attention. Why? This is all because I was picked on as a kid and am still picked on to this day because the other kids didn't like the way I dressed or walked or talked.

At about 13 years old I just learned to quit whining to everyone about how much I'm picked on because there was nothing I could do, I was an ugly-ass nerd that knew everything under the sun (for my age.) You're right about the dying hair and stuff, I think it's stupid. Most women who put on a lot of makeup and dye their hair and stuff just make them look more neutral. Most women I've seen look better WITHOUT that hideous ink on their face. Look at Phillipe. It looks like she took a bucket of paint and dumped it on her face...mostly around the eyes. I see the eyes as a place that should be left untouched, because that's where excess makeup is most common.

Don't get too literal about this, though. I'm not saying like ear piercings or jewlery or stuff is wrong and that people shouldn't do it.
Earrings are like sneezes; 2 or 3 are ok but 10 in a row is just annoying.

you're missing the point here - phillipe blond IS exactly who he is. he IS just being himself. everything we experience in life inevitably changes us for better or worse. there's no life without change.
you say we are born the way we were for a REASON. well, i think this reason is to develop, find oneself's true identity and be whoever one wants to be.
it just seems you have chosen to give up on that. not everybody shares that reactionary way of thinking though.

Well definatelly cute. But I am really sorry that we live in a world where bullies exist and people will always finger others!
