Hummer automatic transmission was ordered by US MILITARY - hardly 'pussy'... You wish to have torque even close to H1 in your manual S10. Even Smart wasn't designed to follow armor into combat it was designed for 21 Century. Have you checked your calendar lately?

Ummm...I don't see this as fair since the Smart had like 20 tiny boxes to load. The HUMMER had 2 boxes the size of the person putting them in. Whatever the Smart had, the HUMMER can carry over 10 of those loads.

That was stupid. If you had a cargo version of the Hummer (ie, a military soft back with a canvas cover) you could fit double the same (or more) cargo than a regular pickup truck. You brought a hardback truck with dubs shod with street tires and seats you can't take out. That was really stupid.
