Hard to believe he was sick during this performance...
A story from Kizzi at NotingDavid.org:
"My daughter and son-in-law were at the game. They had a brief chance to meet him. Both voted for another contestant during American Idol but my daughter converted to a David Archuleta fan when we attended the AI Tampa concert. My son-in-law texted me last night after God Bless America and said that David had everyone's attention and then some! And that he had never seen the crowd as silent during a 7th inning performance as last night. He said people he was with were commenting over and over 'that guy can sing!' And for those who don't follow AI, 'Where did this guy come from?'
He does go to a lot of ball games. Then he asked me when David's album is coming out. And this son-in-law is a pretty hard-nosed rock fan."
