I'm surprised this hasn't sparked religious controversy. Were it made today, atheists would rant about it "shoving religion in their faces" selected churches would ban it for not going along with their interpretations of hell...
I still like this, though. My favorite sequence from it. The end with the bell ringing makes me think God is stepping in to stop the demon.

Chernabog, aka the Devil!!!! I remeber watching this as a child. I used to get nightmares from it, but I continued to watch because the music and visuals were just so awesome. It definitely has been a long time.

LEts just Hope Don Bluths Dragons Larir Movie has some great Dark Imagry likethis (L:ike a lot of people, he too was fed up with disney and their light hearted Touch on life in the 70's and thats why as an independent animator he he tried to be more like this, but sadly, he was forced to lighten up, thouigh no where near as much as dinsey, and lost his steam in the 90's)
