Doki Doki panic was only released in Japan, yes, but I have no idea why it wasn't released in america. The REAL Sumer Mario Brothers 2 (Lost levels) was considered to hard for the Americans, so it was scrapped, and all they did was change the sprites in Doki Doki Panic, and bam, super Mario Bros 2(USA)
