The music has nothing to do it. I love the music. It's the message in the song that I don't care for. I have NO RESPECT for artist who sing sexually explicit lyrics such as KatyPerry, BritneySpears, and any popular rapper. Natasha Bedingfield didn't have to sing this stuff to be huge. Neither did KellyClarkson or CarrieUnderwood or Michelle Branch. Like I said, I believe Charlotte can the music industry if she sings positive songs.

I can understand your concern but it is only one song. I don't believe her songs will all be this way. I think once in a while it's ok, but I agree I would hate it if it would be the ONLY topic she would/could sing about.And there is a second reason I'm not pissed like you : althrough I understand the lyrics it is different when it is not your native language.

KatyPerry sang 'Kissed A Girl,' Britney sang 'Slave,'...I can go on and on about artists who can't be successful w/out dropping to this level. I'm just saying that I respect any artist who can be at the top by staying clean. and don't call people names on the internet. the sound is fantastic. I'm just not a fan of the lyrics of this song. I hope her other songs sound this good but with cleaner topics. As for her old image being boring, I completely disagree. Josh Grobans doin just fine sticking with opera, so I think she would still knock 'em dead if she chose to stick with it. and I personally don't believe that being nasty is the same as being mature. but that's just me.
