Why the Bible, why not the Egyptian story or any other god. If there is a god why the god of Jezus. There many older stories of creation long before people believed in the god of the bible. In don't think a creator made the universe, it's way to large be created by a sentient being. Even if there is a creator I doubt that it has any concern about us, The universe is way to big and earth/humanity is way to small.

Yes, I know what you're saying, I studied this too. I understand how the world came into being: by a series of extremely unlikely coincidences. As a matter of fact, if you examine the probability that a world like ours would come into being, it does in fact look like it was an accident. What I meant by "life must come from life" is that the very first life-forces must have come from life, say a creator, which would considered the ultimate source of life.

The theory of abiogenesis is just that: a theory. It may theoretically explain how life came into being, but then, how come we are still unable to re-create life? And I dont mean creating life in a tube from a sperm and an egg, but actually creating something from nothing: using nothing that is already biologically related to life-forms.

The bible wasnt written by God, it was written by priests etc. Religion is a theory aswell. Religion just puts a human perspective on the universe, that everything has a beginning, middle and end, but this is an invention of mankind, and the universe we live in wont conform to human thinking.
