You make a good point Psycarne, but the movie actually shows that the US was supporting Afghanistan, just not a lot. It was only a side job, until the Soviet invasion. Then the covert war in Afghanistan got a lot more funding.

In Somalia your little Clinton and Boutros-Ghali had to fight the Somali people. Stop genocide? Don't make me laugh. Shidane Arone, Somali youth murdered by Canadian blue berets who murdered three other youths in addition. Two Belgian blue berets were photographed roasting Somali children. Somali women and children being raped by Italian blue berets. Clinton withdrew because the people of Somalia stood up and defended their country from being raped and robbed, defeating the invaders.

Attack on the Digfer hospital in Mogadishu by U.S forces which had about 400 patients. Bullying Somalis at roadblocks. I've seen a photo showing a U.S soldier kicking a kid who wasn't more than 10 years old. There were also cases of civilians being shot by U.S forces when they protested the invasion of their country before and during the battle of Mogadishu.

USSR actually did a good job during this war. They controlled the country for 10 years, lost 14 thousand people (against 50 US soldiers in Vietnam).They left. There was no reason to stay in these mountains, no political reason(anymore), no economical reasons, and obvious issues inside USSR. So i dont really understand why this movie is so proud of this war and tries to make it look like some kind of great victory? arent u guys fighting those to whom u gave weapons now? proud of ur own mistake?

Those Americans think that the Afghan Jihad during the 70's and 80's was all fun and games. All they did was supply the weapons, drink alchohol, and watch belly-dancers. In reality, it was 2,000,000 (2 million) Afghans killed, and many more Afghan Mujahideen. This history was written with the blood of the Afghan people, not with Americans having sex and beer.

Did you smug fucks even watch the whole movie?? If anything is implicated, it's that the U.S. did a poor job following the exit of the Soviets and that 9/11 was a result of our own poor management of wars we meddled in.
