Jose Feliciano the incredible blind guitarist plays this at 20 years old in 1966 tv show... great!
Also recorded and part of the his first album in 1964: "The Voice and guitar of", now part of the cd compilations called "The Passion of JF"
This video is dedicated to many music "experts" reviewer, managers, record companies, music magazines, radio Djs and other guitar "experts" then over the decades has destroyed and laughed his career, described ever Jose, his music, virtuosity and arts never what really He is and deserve.
So Thank You, We and music world in all these decades has miss a genius, his arts and true virtuosity for fault of these "experts": Thank You again.
Check his latest 2007 Funky Rock english album "Soundtrax of My Life" is fantastic, the best Feliciano album in 30 years!

Great video - thanks for sharing this historic musical moment. For those who are so insistent that they know he dropped the pick on purpose, does it convince you if I tell you that Jose himself told the story of this performance in concert just last month and he said he dropped it by accident and his first thought was "Oh sh*t". Being on live TV he had no choice but to just kept on playing and I'd say the recovery was indeed impressive.
