My main issue with this movie (and I know it's only a movie) is that Jo and Bill tether themselves with leather straps to some plumbing and are therefore spared from being swept away by an F5 tornado. It's my understanding that F5 tornadoes totally eradicate houses from their foundations and rip pavement off of roads yet Jo and Bill escape with just a few scratches.
