Legalising cannibis however is a mistake though, it has been proven to cause mental disorders. Decriminalization is the obvious thing to do for cannibis though, you're filling your prisons up with people who do not belong there. Drugs are a big hental issue and should not be made a big legal one as well like they have been

cigarettes can cause cancer, and that's not illegal. so weed causing mental disorders shouldn't matter. drinking alcohol causes blood poisoning (I'm pretty sure...?!) and that's not illegal, so my point is, what you said doesn't make sense, according to present U.S. laws..

Marijuana does not damage you in any permanent way. You can suffer from bad short-term memory, but this is not permanent. It fades away a couple of days after use. I wish people could stop being naive, stereotypical buerocrats. It has NOT proven to cause any permanent damage, such as brain damage. Please show us some realibe studies. And exactly why would dealers lace (put) for example, PCP/Angeldust on Marijuana?
PCP costs alot, and there is a small chance of getting addicted that fast.

Ive seen absolutley NO publications that arent linked to organizations like the ONDCP who say that Cannabis causes mental disorders. There is plenty of evidence to support the FACT that Ex KILLS people. Though even that is not grounds to prohbit EX. If you want to do it thats great. I like it myself. I have a marijuana-induced mental illness called Depersonalization Disorder. It's as common as schizophrenia (1-2% of the population) which can also, btw, be triggered by marijuana. I am not anti-marijuana use (I know it can actually help many people) but rather pro-education and pro-awareness. If marijuana is to be legalized people should be educated about the potential dangers of its use. I smoked it 10x.

If the government atleast decrim. pot, the rate of users would drop drastically (not right away, but in time). Look at Amsterdam, the population of pot users there is a HELL of alot lower than North Anerica, only because it's just a way of life.
Once teens are told they can't do something..... most of them are going to go and do it. Once it is ok to do it, it's not as fun and/or 'cool'.
Everyone should visit Cannabis Culture's website and read the article about amsterdam compared to North Am.
